Broker's Comments
This catamaran comes from a well-established and respected builder whose reputation will in itself arouse the interest of knowledgeable purchasers.
The vessel offers a great deal to any purchaser and on any one of four differing purchase levels.
The most important question for any vessel offered for sale in the southern Mediterranean is moorings; this vessel comes with a mooring in a pleasant Marina sited on the Costa del Sol.
She has operated successfully as a charter vessel for most of her life enjoying the benefit of an interested and conscientious owner who while selling simply to move upwards in size still insists that his vessel more than simply complies with the regulations but in many instances exceeds them. The interior was subject to a full professional refurbishment in ’06.
A part one registration is the purchaser’s guarantee of all present tax liabilities being paid and of the vessel being free of any mortgage, charge or lien.
Being maintained in ready for sea trim makes for a rather exhaustive inventory far too long to list here however one will be sent to interested parties via email.
The vessel can be purchased:
(1)As a charter vessel with mooring and already through the licence compliance procedure ready for a new owner to establish a new venture.
(2)With licences, mooring and the support of a local authority complete with supportive advertising i.e. web page entry, and inclusion in the local tourist guides etc with no cost and on the Costa del Sol. This particular option does allow for her to be placed in an extremely viable Marina offering several charter options including whale watching.
(3)With options 1 & 2 the potential exists to purchase the vessel within an established company complete with its own and usually difficult to obtain bank account, this add on option cannot be recommended highly enough.
(4)The vessel can be purchased privately at which time IVA (VAT) will become payable. It should also be understood that all licences presently held on the vessel for charter work would be retained and cancelled by the present owner.
The asking price is based on option 2 but becomes a variable figure when applied to the other options.
With any of the above options the purchaser will receive full support including legal advice throughout the purchase however and as with any potential vessel purchase a survey is recommended.
These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
