Stepping aboard via the swim step, the 10’ Achilles dinghy and 6hp Tohatsu outboard are secured with a SeaWise manual davit system; very easy to deploy for a quick trip to shore.

The cockpit is covered with a custom hardtop and the deck is covered with professionally installed SeaDek flooring which feels and looks great! There is a Magma barbeque available (currently in storage). The current owners purchased the boat understanding the cockpit shower and bar sink did not function and and these have not been repaired. Two large lazarette hatches access the generator, the four lithium house batteries, two start batteries and large storage area on either side to store crab pots and additional gear.

The engine compartment is accessed via two hatches in the saloon sole; the engine room is simple and straightforward -- a practical setup facilitating easy maintenance. The cabin is warmed by electric heaters or a Red Dot cruising heater (engine heat). A central vac system is located under the settee.

As you enter the salon you notice how efficient the layout is and the ample headroom throughout the boat. To starboard is a U-shaped settee with re-upholstered seats and a large table.
The entertainment center is to port; the stereo and the TV is stored in a cabinet below. The port side of the salon has a storage cube which doubles as additional seating; the area is large enough for one or two small chairs to fit comfortably as well.

The u-shaped galley is just forward of the salon. There is storage above the side-by-side stainless sink; the sink faces the salon allowing a very open feeling. The 3-burner propane stove has a custom cover to expand the counter space. A convection/microwave and NovaKool fridge/freezer complete the galley.

Across from the galley is the lower helm. It has great visibility forward and to the sides due to the large three-panel windshield and side windows and large windows throughout the salon and aft door.

Continuing forward, to starboard is the guest cabin. At the foyer there is plenty of standing headroom, and plenty of space to sit comfortably at the edge of the large queen berth. A hanging locker and storage make this an enjoyable space for guests or family. There is also easy access to the water heater and the engines through hatches at the end and side of the bed.

To port is the shared head with a shower and four-foot-long, molded-fiberglass bathtub at its base. A fresh water Dometic Sealand electric toilet and sink with storage above and below complements the compartment. The main cabin is located in the bow with a large island berth which accommodates individuals 6 feet tall or more. Hanging lockers and storage to port and starboard as well as under the bed. The mattress was upgraded and is hinged to provide easier access to the storage below the bed.

There is a tremendous amount of interior light and headroom throughout the boat which gives the boat a very open and expansive feel.

The flybridge is accessed via a ladder from the cockpit. A U-shaped settee is comfortable for guests with protection from the sun by a bimini. The propane locker is located on the hardtop over the cockpit which also adds additional space to store kayaks, chairs and possibly a large cooler.

Broker's Comments

After extensive repairs to the generator, hydraulic steering system, the starboard main engine, and lazarette sole this 1998 Bayliner 3788 has returned to the market and is ready for a new owner to enjoy!

This model is equipped with twin Cummins 6BTA 5.9 litre engines and a 4kw Westerbeke generator.
Since purchasing the boat, the current owners upgraded several items which include an Achilles 10’ RIB with a 6hp Tohatsu outboard and added a Sea Wise davit system. They had a custom hard top over the cockpit professionally installed and SeaDek protective flooring in the cockpit and on the swim step area; it feels great on bare feet! They installed a propane stove and associated propane storage and supply system. The main cabin has an upgraded folding mattress for easy access to storage under the bed. The salon settee seat cushions have been re-upholstered and upgraded the toilet to a Dometic Sealand fresh water flush electric toilet.

Her hull and exterior appear to be in good condition. Current Everett moorage may be transferred to her new owners, if approved by the Port.
